Hello Everyone

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I post on here last. So I thought I'd go a head and post a new entry.

The last few months have been.......intresting........I believe would be the best term to use. I went from days, back to nights at work....Marcus is getting ready to deploy in June, and McKaylee is....well a 3 year old. LOL

I've been having the same nightmare the last few nights though....it's one that I can't quite place. I don't understand it, but I do know that I don't like it. I wake up in a dead sweat. It feels as if someone has been sitting on my chest because I can't breathe. But I can't remember anything about the nightmare..

Marcus finally got his deploma for his Associates Degree in Web design and Animation. It only took freaking Provo College 10 weeks to tell him he actually graduated and then another month and a half to get the deploma...if not longer. I swear on my life, I will NEVER have anything to do with that school again.

McKaylee is finally starting to open up to people. This last weekend, we helped Robert and Debbie move to their new house and McKaylee, who up until friday had never said 1 word to robert, was playing with him and talking to him and having a blast. I'm so glad because I don't know if I can handle her crying and screaming much longer when he never did anything to her. Expecually with Marcus deploying. Also, we've been slowly telling her that in a few months, Marcus is going to go away for about a year....and she wont be able to see him or call him whenever she wants. So far, she's doing pretty good with that...how ever, now only daddy's allowed to put her to bed. I'm not. LOL....which is fine. I want them to spend as much time together as they can before he leaves...

Update!

So, I am REALLY bad at keeping up on this as my whole family likes to point out. And I'm sorry. In my defense, I've been working over 40 hours a week and I barely have time to breathe....

But on a good note, McKaylee is officially POTTY TRAINED!!!! She still wears a pull up at night, but it's just a precaustion. She wakes up every morning with a dry pull up on....But she does really good with just going in and going potty....or telling someone she has to go BEFORE she goes....it's wonderful!!!!! I just LOVE not having to change diapers anymore!! It's amazing! LOL can you tell I'm super excited about this??

Other news, Marcus is now working full time with the Miliary again on orders. He is working up at Camp Williams doing ground work.....He loves it. He's always secretly missed doing landscaping with Dave....and this let's him do it again. Not to mention, we have 2 incomes again and life is wonderful. I just went and got a new phone, marcus is getting one on the 1st.....I'm getting my hair done, and I went and got a pedicure last night with my mom! It's nice to be able to treat yourself to fun things without having to NOT pay a bill....Plus, this gives us insurance again and after his orders end, we can spend like $400 and pay for insurance for 1 year, so we'll be covered after he's no longer working....and it will expire just before he deploys and we get insurance again.....we think it's a good plan.

Well, I'm gonna go. I'm not gonna lie, I probably wont post again until next year.....seems to be my history. LOL

Way past due update!

Well, I know it's been a very long time since I updated this blog. But as I lay here in bed, again, unable to sleep, I figured "why not!".

This day is going to be a very hard one for me today. It's supposed to be my due date. In case you didn't hear, I miscarried in January. So my baby that was supposed to be here in my arms any day now, is not. So I apologize a head of time if I'm an emotional wreck for a few days..

On top of that, I decided that being apart from Marcus royally sucks! I miss him so much! And so does little miss Mac. She has picked up on the "terrible two's" quite fast! OH how I miss those days where she would just lay on my chest and sleep......

On the plus side, Marcus will be home in as little as a month to 2 months! And I'm going to try to go out and see him the weekend after my birthday!

Also, another plus, I've been working for the company I work for(DishOne Satellite) for a little over a year now..... That's exciting! I've been working nights and it turns out there is a pretty good chance I might be able to move to day shifts! Oh what I would give to be able to be here when McKaylee get's up in the mornings AND when she goes to bed.....and not just one or the other! To be able to make plans to see my friends, and go out to movies and concerts and basically have a life again! Not that I've been missing a lot, and I'm very greatful to have my job! I actually LOVE my job, who can say that? Not a lot of people, but I do. I love the people I work for and the people I work with! But I do miss my family......

Anyways, I've been rambling on long enough! I'm going to shut this computer now, and attempt to go to sleep......HA I'm funny!

New News!

Well, As it seems, Marcus and I are going to be extending our little family of 3, to a little family of 4! I found out last week, that Marcus and I are expecting another baby. I am happy, but also, I'm scared out of my mind! We are barly supporting the 3 of us.....I don't know what we are going to do with another baby! But we are excited for this new adventure. I promise I'll update when I find more out about the preganacy...

Binks and McKaylee

So, my mom and dad picked McKaylee something up on Saturday. Her name is Binks. She is a 6 week old kitten....yes we now have a kitten and McKaylee is OBSESSED with her! She likes to pick her up and put her on the couch, then pick her up off the couch and put her on the floor...over and over and over again. We are still working with her on not picking her up by her neck. Here are some pictures...

So McKaylee and Marcus were at home while I was at work and Mac wont let anyone be on the computer without her on their lap. So Marcus took this Video on his web cam.... It's so cute!

2 year Anniversary

So yesterday was Marcus and I 2nd anniversary. He took me out to dinner to my favorite place, Applebee's, and to see Angels and Demons. Then he also got me a dozen white roses!! My husband is so good to me! It's so weird to think that it was 2 years ago that we stood infront of our family and friends and got married! Time really goes by fast!

ATTENTION:

So, it has come to my attention that when I wrote my post about my new job and the update for McKaylee's birthday, that some people thought I meant that only people I WANTED to come, could come. I just wanted to clarify so that people don't think i'm this big bitch that wanted to cut people out of Mac's birthday...



When I said "for those of you on my list that want to come..." I meant those of you on my BLOG list....not that there was this "special list" and if you weren't on it, you weren't coming. If you honestly believe that i'm shallow enough to cut out family from a famiy event, then no one really thinks that highly of me.



Now, I didn't mean anything rude to anyone when I wrote what I wrote on my last post. I just wrote what I was feeling....and I'm sorry if it makes anyone mad, but seriously, I wasn't going to go camping on the weekend of my daughters 1st birthday....that would have cut my family out of her birthday and if i'm not willing to cut out Marcus's side of the family, what on god's green earth makes anyone think I was going to cut out mine! I wanted everyone there! And when I say everyone, I MEAN EVERYONE! We made it where we celebrated on Sunday because most people come home from camping on sundays....and we thought you all could come down from the canyon and stop by on your way home.

Think what you want. I wasn't trying to make anyone mad....I was just saying how I felt....and too be fair, everyone knew when McKaylee was born, everyone knew she was going to turn one....and for you guys to plan a camping trip on that same weekend was kind of hurtfull...

McKaylee's 1st Birthday!!!

So, my baby turned 1 yesterday!!! We had so much fun. We had tons of friends and family over...had a bbq and opened presents! She got tons of cute clothes! A 2 in 1 bike/walker, a manners tea set, a hide and seek flower pot, a phonics radio, this really cool ball that bounces REALLY high, and her first build-a-bear! It was a nice turn out. I was really sad and disappointed that only Crystal, Claudia, and Mike and Val came from Marcus's side of the family....I really thought that more would come....I mean, she only has one 1st birthday! It's a day and an experience that they can never get back. OH Well....here are some pictures....they do nothing to acutally being there, but oh well....

She Walks!!!

So, it's offical. My baby is walking! She's almost 1 and I kow she's supposed to be walking but still....it's so weird. She is getting so big now....she wont eat baby food anymore....she must have what we're having...and she throws fits when she doesn't get what she wants....so yeah....I'm really in for it....LOL. But yeah...just thought i'd let everyone know the update....

New Job and update...

So, I am sitting at my new Job!! It's still kinda slow, but I have a feeling that it will pick up and at least be a little fun.
I get to work with Sarah and Danna, so at least I will know someone. And I wont be all alone like I am right now.

Anyways, McKaylee is doing good. She's almost 1!! It's so weird to think that my baby is almost a year old already. It really does seem like a month ago that she was born...We've decided that we're doing a Tinkerbell Theme birthday party for her. For those of you on my list that would like to come, it will be Sunday, May 24 at 4pm. Bring your own meat. I will have some side dishes and of course cake and ice cream. Let me know if your coming and i'll let you know where it will be.

McKaylee's first Easter

So, I tried to get McKaylee to dye her first Easter egg but she wanted nothing to do with it. The Easter Bunny brought her a cute purple stuffed animal bunny. And put some egg's inside, just for her! I guess he knew that it would be too cold for her to crawl around outside....LOL. Anyways, here are some pictures.

Sick Sick Baby Girl

So Mac is sick. We went to the doctor on the 6 and she had an ear infection. So we went back on the 13th and she had a yeast infection. And now, I just spent 2 hours in the after hours clinic because she has thrush.

I am so sick of being at the doctors. More, I am sick of trying to give her medicine. She is so little, I don't want her to be sick all the time.

Anyways, that's the update. I'll write again when I have more information.

New Pictures done!!

So, we took Mac on Saturday to get new pictures done. We figured it was time. I mean, she's almost 9 months old. It's so weird to think that it's been almost 9 months since she was born! She's just my little baby but she's getting so big....Anyways. Here's some new pictures. I hope you like them. I absolutely LOVE them.

2 teeth and trying to walk!!

So McKaylee now has 2 teeth! Both bottom ones. And she's trying to walk. She can walk along the couch and she's trying OH SO HARD to to walk away from the couch. Soon she's going to be chasing Mace all around the house!!

R.I.P. Cody Bott

Only 2o years old, this wonderful brother, father, and friend took his own life. His name is Cody Bott. I went to school with him and his 2 sisters. Chealse became one of my best friends and so did her brother.

We had 90 percent of our classes together my senior year. He was always the one that made our classes fun. I remember we would make fun of our Science teacher because she was really creepy. and I'm not being rude. Everyone has creepy teachers. And we didn't do it in front of her.

Cody was a fun man. He could make anyone laugh when all they wanted to do was cry. But he can't help us now. We are all crying for you now Cody. You will be missed.

New Beginnings for Maggie and Marcus

So Marcus and I are officially enrolled in College. We signed papers today for student loans and we start school on Tuesday. I am going to get my associates degree in Business Management and Marcus is getting his in Criminal Justice. We are going to do online courses with Eagle Gate College. Anyways, wish us luck.

McKaylee has her first tooth!!!

So I noticed today, that McKaylee's first tooth is starting to pop threw...!! Yes, my baby girl is getting so big so fast. She's in the 90th percentile for her height and the 75th percentile for her weight. She's pulling herself up on the furniture(which recently started the last 2 days or so). And NOW she's getting her teeth. Wow! I'm so not ready for this. LOL

The New Year....a little late....

Hey, well I know I'm late but it's better late then never. LOL.

So this new year is going to bring a lot of change. I am cutting out soda and sweets. I need to lose weight. I love my mom and everything but I don't want to end up with Diabetes. And I had the gestaional ones....so my risk of getting the real ones are kinda high. I cut out carbanation the day after Thanksgiving, but on New Years Eve, It kinda went out the window.... So I must start over again. I don't think it will be that hard.

So Marcus is going to try to keep in touch with his family a lot more this year. That is his new year resolution. I don't want his side of the family to think that we are trying to cut them out or anything. It's just hard cause we live with my family, not that we want to. But it does kinda tend to make people think that we are trying to cut them out and we don't want that.

Anyways, I'll stop rambling. Just wanted to say happy new year.

Thanksgiving

So this thanksgiving was a big one! We had Mom and dad, Colleen and Jade, Sarah and granny, Danna and Danna and their two boys, and Marcus's mom, Claudia, There. It was a big one but it was good. McKaylee wore her red and white dress that Marcus and I bought her. And mom bought her that big red flower to go with it. I LOVE that flower. We went and saw Marcus's Dad and step mom. And Grandma Jane and Grandpa Don. It was a really good day after all.
